how it all started
Pine Tar Academy (PTA) is a full-service baseball academy, now based out of a brand new facility in Brooklyn Park, MN (opening January 1, 2022). The academy was founded in 2006 and has since helped develop hundreds of players throughout the surrounding metro areas.
The goal of PTA is to offer players of all ages and abilities the opportunity to grow and develop in an advanced environment.

Our Mission is to help any baseball player, at any level, unlock their fullest potential and to put individual player development first in everything we do.
Our Philosophy is to create a fun, age appropriate baseball training environment where players are individually assessed, a development plan is created, we measure progress using state of the art technology, we learn to compete and we repeat (re assess).
