The 16U–18U years are a critical stage in a player's baseball journey. At Pine Tar Academy, our advanced small group baseball training programs are designed to help high school athletes maximize their potential, prepare for varsity competition, and pursue opportunities at the collegiate level.
Our comprehensive player development system combines position-specific baseball instruction with performance training to help athletes improve every aspect of their game. Whether your goal is to increase pitching velocity, improve hitting consistency, enhance defensive skills, or become a more explosive athlete, our experienced coaches provide the guidance and structure needed to achieve measurable results.

Small Group Training and Private Lessons
Small Group Training programs are offered throughout the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons (September through May), giving athletes multiple opportunities to develop their skills year-round. Our Small Group Training sessions pair one instructor with up to 4 athletes per session.
Prepare for High School, College, and Beyond
As competition increases during the high school years, athletes need more than just practice—they need a structured development plan. Pine Tar Academy helps players prepare for varsity baseball, showcase events, college recruiting opportunities, and the next stages of their athletic careers through targeted skill development and performance training.

If you're looking for elite baseball training for 16U, 17U, or 18U players in Minnesota, Pine Tar Academy provides the coaching, facilities, and proven development system to help athletes compete at their highest level. We offer flexible pricing options to fit different training goals, schedules, and budgets. Whether you're looking to attend occasionally, train consistently throughout the season, or maximize your development with multiple sessions each week, we have an option for you.
Drop-In Session
$45 per session
Perfect for athletes who want the flexibility to attend individual training sessions without a long-term commitment.
10-Pack Training Package
$399 ($39.90 per session)
Save on training with our 10-session package. Sessions can be used for any of our small-group training programs, allowing athletes to customize their experience based on their development needs. Best of all, sessions never expire and carry over from season to season.
Seasonal Memberships
Memberships provide the best value for athletes who plan to train multiple times per week. Memberships are offered on a seasonal basis and availability is limited.

Private one-on-one training
For players seeking more individualized training in hitting, pitching, fielding, or specific position work, or in athletic development and performance training, we offer year-round one-on-one private training.
$65 for 30 minutes
$105 for an hour
ELITE TRAINING
For high school players interested in playing college baseball, we offer ELITE Programming from November through high school tryouts in March (Hitting, Pitching, Catching), which also includes our Baseball Performance Training. These programs each meet two hours a day, 3 days a week. Our Elite Programs are all invite-only. To be considered for Elite Hitting, Elite Pitching, or Elite Catching, please contact us.
